The Power of Right

What should I do? Hopefully, the answer you get back is to do the right thing. If we do what’s right we don’t have to worry about wronging anybody, being the wrong side of the rules or laws, and we can feel good about what we’re doing and have done—no regrets. The flip side of this is to do what we want regardless of right or wrong. This is short-term thinking—especially if we believe in karma (I know I do). I’m working with someone who lasted over 30 years in the nightclub business . . . in New York. He made it big and stayed on top by doing right by his people, the patrons, the police, and everyone else involved.

If we always ask ourselves, “What’s the right thing to do?” and do it, it simplifies things.
